The Team naturally deals with elements that can arise from criminal cases and on appeals from the Magistrate’s Courts.

  • Government Departments – particularly in the context of prisons, the administration of justice and asylum and immigration policies.
  • Judicial Bodies – including Coroners.

  • Criminal Law – including public interest immunity, compatibility of offences with the European Convention on Human Rights, cautions, decisions on whether to prosecute and prosecutorial policy.
