Members act for local authorities, landowners, developers, businesses and individuals across a broad range of planning and land matters. Our work includes planning enforcement, breach of condition notices, planning appeals, lawful development certificates, highways issues, community infrastructure levy disputes, tree preservation orders, listed building and conservation matters, and related public law challenges.
Members also advise and act in disputes concerning the ownership and use of land, including boundary disputes, rights of way, easements, adverse possession, restrictive covenants and injunctions.
Chambers is particularly well placed to assist where planning, property, regulatory and local government issues overlap. Members provide early strategic advice, draft pleadings and written representations, appear at hearings and inquiries, and assist with urgent applications where required.
