Syan Ventom Case Results in Imprisonment for Flytippers

Two Defendants were recently sentenced to immediate terms of imprisonment, for a number of offences contrary to the Environmental Protection Act 1990, at Winchester Crown Court.

The case was prosecuted, on behalf of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, by Syan Ventom. One Defendant pleaded at PTPH and another was found guilty after a trial at Salisbury Crown Court. Ethu Crorie covered the sentencing hearing.  

Poonam Pattni, successful twice this month in the High Court
