Wiltshire Council Criminal Advocacy Training
Published on 04/06/2025
This week, members of 12CP Edward Elton, Lucy Conroy, and our current pupil Katherine Toth, visited Wiltshire Council at the County Hall in Trowbridge to conduct Criminal Advocacy training. The focus of the training was the process of Magistrates Court hearings, from the 1st Appearance to Sentence, covering examination in chief; cross-examination and eliciting information from witnesses.
Edward Elton, who co-conducted the training session, said that it was terrific to see the team at Wiltshire Council again.
The feedback we received was that the training was engaging, and that Legal Services Team were looking forward to the Civil Advocacy training session next week that will be delivered by Peter Savill and Laura Hawkins!
