Hannah accepts instructions in both prosecution and defence work in the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court.

She is regularly instructed to defend cases involving serious violence, domestic abuse, assault, burglary and theft offences. Notable successes include securing a full acquittal on a seven-count indictment involving burglary and domestic assaults, and the successful defence of a charge of stalking involving fear of violence through careful and detailed analysis of prosecution data evidence.

Hannah began her career at the Crown Prosecution Service and brings a diligent and thorough approach to prosecution work. She has successfully prosecuted a wide range of cases including assaults, violent crime, domestic abuse and drug offences. She has also advised on fraud prosecutions for the Department for Work and Pensions and is proactive in managing cases from the outset to conclusion.

Hannah is known for her approachable manner and clear, supportive advocacy. She is frequently praised by clients and witnesses for her professionalism and guidance throughout the trial process. Hannah often works with clients who have mental health conditions or learning difficulties, taking time to build rapport and ensure they are fully supported throughout proceedings.

Regulatory and Local Government


Hannah is regularly instructed to prosecute on behalf of local authorities across a broad range of matters, including fly-tipping, closure orders, breaches of noise abatement notices, taxi licensing appeals, and health and safety offences.

She is also instructed in Trading Standards and licensing matters in both the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court. Hannah approaches each case with a thorough and strategic mindset, ensuring that matters are robustly prepared before reaching court. She is available for conferences and provides advice throughout the prosecution process, contributing to a strong record of successful outcomes.

Hannah values the collaborative nature of this work and regularly works closely with specialist teams. She has received positive feedback for the clarity of her presentation and the strength of her submissions in Court.

She is actively involved in training and professional development and has spoken at CTSI conferences in 2025 and 2026.

Hannah accepts instructions on behalf of local authorities and housing associations in possession proceedings and injunction applications.

She has experience across a wide range of housing matters, including access injunctions, anti-social behaviour proceedings, and breaches of tenancy, and brings a clear, practical approach to advocacy in this area.

Police Law


Hannah is regularly instructed by the police to draft applications and to represent them in court.

She has advised and appeared in a wide range of police-led matters, including applications for Stalking Protection Orders, Sexual Risk Orders, forfeiture and destruction orders, and proceedings under the Police (Property) Act. Hannah works collaboratively with police forces and has achieved numerous successful outcomes, securing comprehensive orders through her careful drafting and effective advocacy.

Education


Hannah represents local authorities in the prosecution of Education Act offences and in proceedings before the SEND Tribunal.

She manages Education Act matters from initial hearing through to contested trial where necessary and sees a high conviction rate. Hannah conducts these cases with sensitivity, combining a careful approach to the parties involved with comprehensive submissions on legislation and case law.
