Called in 1992, David practiced in London and Exeter, and having initially been a defence advocate, has now been specialising in regulatory law for over 15 years.
Regularly appearing in Public Inquiries before the Office of the Traffic Commissioner representing Companies, Transport Managers and drivers he also provides advocacy on their behalf when prosecuted by the DVSA.
His Health and Safety practice combines Court advocacy with nationwide and local training events through Aon and ACT (National) ltd.
Additionally, he is often instructed to defend in cases brought by the Environment Agency and the variety of regulators within the fishing industry.
David has extensive Licensing Act and Taxi Licensing experience at all levels.
Having also worked as an internal Legal Advisor for a Constabulary he has defended Police Officers who face disciplinary proceedings.
Authorised to accept instructions by direct access he finds himself regularly assisting individuals who face disqualification from driving.
He is an accredited Mediator (CEDR).
