Charlotte is a senior member of the Housing Team and covers work throughout the South.
She has a reputation for being very ‘client friendly’ and is very popular with a number of instructing solicitors.
Charlotte is currently on maternity leave.
Charlotte is highly experienced in Prison Law and has extensive experience representing all categories of prisoners, particularly those subject to indeterminate sentences – such as Lifers, recalled prisoners, those serving extended sentences and those qualifying under Imprisonment for Public Protection.
She has built a specialised practice conducting hearings before the Parole Board in applications for release, transfer to open conditions, re-release following recall, re-categorisation or general welfare case progression in prisons across the country.
Charlotte is happy to undertake any form of advisory work that may be required, either in conference or in writing.
She is experienced at making applications for Judicial Review and settling all the necessary paperwork for Judicial Review. She also accepts instructions to represent at Adjudications.
Charlotte is familiar with the offending behaviour work available within the prison system and has experience cross examining psychologists and forensic psychiatrists on specialised areas such as static and dynamic risk.
