Duncan Milne In Successful Prosecution Of Parking Company

Published on 16/03/2021

Duncan was instructed by Southampton City Council to prosecute local cruise parking company and its director for consumer offences. EzeParking Limited advertised that customer vehicles would be ‘safe and well protected’ in a private, secure, accredited car park. Instead, they were parked in a public multi-storey car park and then tailgated bumper-to-bumper at the exit barriers to avoid payment of parking fees and risking damage to customer vehicles.

Both the company and director Alan Naylor pleaded guilty to consumer offences and were sentenced to fines and costs of approximately £7,500.00.
