Appointment of new Senior Clerk

Chambers is delighted to announce that Lucy Smith has been appointed as our new Senior Clerk. Lucy has been acting up in that role, since the sudden passing of our beloved Mark last year. Lucy joined us as a junior clerk some 11 years ago. Since then, she has been committed to the development of Chambers, progressing to First Diary Clerk and then to Deputy Senior Clerk, before taking on her new role today. With a new and modern approach towards clerking, Lucy will lead our all-female team of clerks in a new chapter for Chambers.

We offer Lucy our warmest congratulations and wish her every success in the years that lie ahead.

Lucy wanted to pay tribute to Mark, a very dear friend to us all. She learned so much from him and she hopes she can make him proud.
