12CP Training and Events
Published on 13/10/2025
12CP has been thriving at full speed recently!
Last week Counsel Peter Savill and Laura Hawkins conducted some Housing Disrepair training for Wiltshire Council.
Coming up this week we have Counsel Grace Coupland hosting the Westgate School at Winchester Crown Court. The students will get to witness court proceedings first hand, meet one of the resident Judges and enjoy a Q and A session with Grace about a legal career, education and different pathways to the Bar. Chambers is very excited for this event and hoping to make it an annual event.
Also, next week Ethu Crorie and Amber Athill will be conducting training for Portsmouth City Council concerning Housing Prosecutions and conducting Interviews under Caution. This will include providing advice on formal visits, recording evidence, drafting witness statements, tips in interviews and what to avoid and giving evidence at court.
Lastly, on Saturday 18th October, Counsel Ethu Crorie, current pupil Katherine Toth and Senior Clerk Lucy Smith will represent 12CP as exhibitors at the Bar Council’s Pupillage fair. They look forward to meeting prospective pupils there!
