The Agency Worker Directive 2010 will become UK law on 1st October 2011.
The new Agency Worker Regulations 2010 provide temporary agency workers with equal treatment in terms of basic working and employment conditions, as if they had been employed directly to do the same job. This will have major implications on the costs and use of agency workers by employers.
Already avoidance strategies are being thought up by employers but how effective will they be and are there any real practical ways to soften the impact of these Regulations?
This seminar will aim to give those attending a working knowledge of the Regulations and an understanding of the practical steps that employers will need to take to ensure that they are properly prepared when the legislation comes into force.
