Regulatory Team All Set For CTSI (Bristol) Conference

Mark Harrison and members of the Crime and Regulatory Team will be at the Annual CTSI Conference at the Mercure Grand in Bristol, from 15th June to 17th June. Come and visit us in the Exhibition Hall.

Please join Lucy Conroy and Ethu Crorie at 14.10 on Wednesday 15th June. Their seminar is entitled “What The **** Did You Say? Tips and Techniques for Conducting a PACE Interview (aka How Can You Make Counsel’s Life Easier)”.

Lucy and Ethu’s talk will give guidance and help aimed at helping not only those conducting PACE interviews but also those assessing the contents of interviews when considering charging decisions and/or issues for further investigation. Suggestions will be given about both planning an interview and strategies to utilise during the interview itself. This will mean that interviews are as useful as possible for officers, defendants, lawyers, judges and juries. There will be the odd example given of non-ideal interview practices which will probably be presented by Ethu venting about things that have come up in his cases.
