Lucie has a busy practice prosecuting and defending in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Court. She also frequently appears in the Youth Court.

Lucie’s clients describe her as reassuring, calm and approachable. She prides herself in guiding vulnerable and nervous individuals through the court process. She is instructed in cases covering the full range of offences and is noted for her ability in cases covering violence and dishonesty offences.

R V S: Secured a conditional discharge for a Youth convicted of a dwelling house burglary.

R V  LS: Community Order for possession of offensive weapon despite guidelines.

R V MT: Not guilty verdict for offence of assaulting an emergency worker.

R V ML: Res Gestae argument, not guilty verdict.

Regulatory and Local Government


Lucie is developing a practice in regulatory work and has acted for several local authorities on matters ranging from fly-tipping to blue badge misuse.

Property and Social Housing


Lucie accepts instructions in Housing and Possession matters for both Claimants and Defendants. Prior to her Pupillage she conducted several possession hearings during her time as a County Court advocate.

Civil


Lucie accepts instructions in general civil matters such as small claims and general civil hearings.
