Edward regularly appears in the Crown Court for both the Prosecution and Defence, covering all areas of Criminal practice.
He is regularly instructed in cases involving serious violence, drug supply and sexual offences.
He has acted as led junior in cases of Serious Organised Crime involving county lines drug supply, for the Prosecution and Defence respectively.
He is noted for his approachable and friendly manner, and is often instructed to represent clients with serious mental health difficulties. His patience is appreciated by those he works with. Edward takes pride in helping those he represents feel more comfortable in the often frightening situations they encounter in the Criminal Justice System.
He is always happy to meet with clients before their hearings to advise and reassure them.
Edward also has extensive experience of Youth Court practise, having represented clients in serious multi-handed, multi-day trials involving allegations of serious violence, robbery and sexual offences.

Successful prosecution of a man for robbery with a weapon.
R v DH (2021)
Defence of a man charged with rape of a stranger.
R v MB (2021)
Successful defence of a man charged with multiple counts of sexually abusing his step-daughter. This case involved the section 28 pre-recorded cross-examination procedure.
R v LW & others (Operation Pillarbox) (2021)
Led prosecution junior in a seven-handed drugs conspiracy organised from a prison, with a value in excess of £1.5 million. Presently instructed in ongoing confiscation proceedings.
