12CP's Family Team are pleased to invite you to our one day conference at The Southampton Park Hotel on Friday 13th July 2012.
We have as a guest speaker, Andrew Lister, a clinical psychologist with many years experience in working with children in care including children in residential and adoptive placements. Andrew will be lecturing on 'Attachment for Busy Legal Professionals'. This lecture will provide the answer to such issues as the meaning of attachment between child and parent, the basis of a secure attachment, attachment profiles and the assessment of attachment in the context of Children Act proceedings.
In addition, members of our the Family Team are pleased to present their ever popular updates on Private Law Children Act proceedings and the Public Law Children Act proceedings. The update lectures will be combined with a lecture on the usage of injunctions to prevent the removal of children in care proceedings (Re H cases) and the more imaginative and contemporary uses of S38 (6) in care proceedings.
