It was a really informative well presented whistle stop tour of local authority licensing functions. You had our attention throughout -we've all been to those dry training sessions where the slides are read out and you lose the will to live so it’s refreshing to have a good interactive commentary with practice points.

Organiser of Licensing Training Held by Peter Savill - July 2012

Members of the Team are able to provide practical advice and advocacy in a full range of licensing matters. We have experience of public entertainment cases, that have often involved large festivals, and cases that have involved liquor, gaming, private hire, firearms and the licensing of sex establishments.

These cases can be heard in Committee at Council Licensing sessions and also in the Magistrate's and Crown Court.

We have considerable experience and expertise in advising on matters concerning the 2003 Licensing Act that involve applying for, and opposing, Personal and Premises Licences, Club Registration Certificates, Temporary Event Notices, Interim Authority Notices and Closure Orders.
