Nick Tucker has prosecuted to conviction a serious sexual offences case which has resulted in a total sentence of 26 years

The defendant was convicted of sexually assaulting and raping a teenage friend of his daughter's while she was incapable through drink, and of taking indecent photographs of her during the assault. He was also convicted of sexually assaulting two other teenage girls. For those offences, together with other matters which he had not contested, he received an extended sentence comprising 18 years custody and 8 years extended licence. HHJ Parker QC acknowledged the assistance provided to him by Nick and by defence counsel Berenice Mulvanny in what he described as a difficult case.
