Zosia specialises in family work. She is happy to cover work over a broad geographical area, as required. Zosia is known to be extremely organised and punctilious and undertakes to provide written attendance notes promptly after each hearing.

Zosia has extensive experience of dealing with public law proceedings including EPOs, secure accommodation orders, care, adoption and special guardianship proceedings. She represents both parents and Local Authorities and has particular expertise in representing parents who face sexual allegations. She has previously acted for the Official Solicitor and is experienced in representing clients with learning and/or mental health difficulties. She is fully conversant with the PLO and is happy to draft the relevant forms and case summaries as required.

In private law proceedings Zosia regularly deals with residence/contact disputes, as well as applications to remove from the jurisdiction. She also deals with injunctions.

PII

Zosia is regularly instructed on PII disclosure matters by Local Authorities and is assisted by her criminal experience in carrying out these instructions. She is committed to carrying out paperwork promptly and aims to turn PII papers around with 48 hours. She is also happy to deliver the papers personally to her instructing solicitor where the matter is urgent.

Matrimonial Finance

Zosia has experience of dealing with all aspects of ancillary relief matters. She has lectured on the Civil Partnership Act 2004 and welcomes work concerning dissolution of civil partnerships and claims arising from their discussion.

Mental Health

Zosia has dealt with cases involving the management of the affairs and interests of those who suffer from mental health problems and is expanding her practice into this area, particularly into gaining further experience in the Court of Protection and with Mental Health Review Tribunal work.
