Nick is a highly regarded criminal practitioner who features in the Legal 500. He is gaining a growing reputation as a leading junior in heavyweight multi-handed cases involving drugs and violence. He has been instructed in five attempted murder cases over the past three years, both for the prosecution and the defence. In 2014 he secured a suspended sentence for a man convicted of the attempted murder of his terminally ill wife. In the same year he successfully prosecuted a Chief Inspector of Surrey Police for extensive retail fraud, a case which received national media attention. In 2017 he prosecuted against leading counsel in the widely publicised case of Aaron Brown, a Hampshire businessman charged with gross negligence manslaughter following a boating accident.
