Naveen has been representing both Respondents and Claimants at Employment Tribunals for over ten years. He has also appeared before the EAT.
Employment law was his specialist subject for his Masters degree. Naveen covers all areas including unfair dismissal, discrimination, restrictive covenants, whistle-blowing and breach of contract claims.
He is available to advise on all disciplinary and grievance matters, draft pleadings, provide written advice, conduct Case Management Direction and Pre-Hearing Review's as well as final trials.
He is able to receive instructions directly from businesses and Human Resources professionals (CIPD). The nationwide cinema chain Vue Entertainment is included amongst his clients.
Naveen has acted as a Legal Adviser to County Councillors and represented individuals at Civil Service Appeal Board Hearings.
Naveen provides training for CPD purposes (including in-house to Local Authority's) and lectures at the regional Employment Lawyers Association events as well as speaking at breakfast meetings for members of the Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Small Business and the Institute of Directors.

Naveen regularly represents Private Registered Providers, Local Authorities and commercial lenders in the County Court in a variety of possession claims, injunctions for anti-social behaviour and other interlocutory applications. He is a member of the Housing Law Practitioners Association.
Naveen can provide advice and draft documents relating to the general areas of property and real estate law. He has represented parties at the LVT, Lands Tribunal and also before HM Land Registry Adjudicator.
Naveen has considerable experience of representing developers in construction disputes right from the initial Pre-Action Protocol stage through to trial. He is experienced in lengthy, multi-party litigation.

Naveen has been Accredited as a Civil & Commercial Mediator by both the ADR Group and CEDR. He has also trained with Globis, RICS, 218 Strand and is an Assessor for the Centre of Justice in London.
Naveen is a CMC Registered Workplace Mediator and can help parties avoid Employment Tribunals by resolving their disputes quickly and in a cost-effective manner.

Prior to joining Chambers, Naveen worked in the Civil Litigation department of Biscoes solicitors in Portsmouth for two years. He has also sat on two separate Bar Council Committees.
