Jonathan is a specialist regulatory and criminal practitioner who regularly appears in the Magistrates, Crown and High Courts in a variety of locations around the country. He is noted for his excellent approach to client care, thorough preparation and first class advocacy and representation.
Jonathan also provides advocacy and seminar training for local authority prosecutors, and Defence Firms in the areas of his expertise, notably in Consumer Protection and Proceeds of Crime.
Jonathan prosecutes for variety of Borough, City and County Councils, Regulatory Bodies and Trading Standards Units, as well as using that expertise to defend private individuals and companies; most notably where such cases fall outside of traditional criminal practice. Jonathan prosecutes and defends in all areas of general criminal practice; and regularly prosecutes for the DWP and the Specialist Fraud Division. He has been a led Junior for both Prosecution and Defence, as well as routinely dealing with complex cases involving technological evidence. He has significant experience in both applying for and defending a wide range Ancillary Orders including confiscation, restraint and destruction orders, DVPO, SHRO and SHPO's.
