Before joining Chambers, Naveen was a fee earner for two years in the Civil Litigation department of Biscoes Solicitors in Portsmouth. He is renowned for simplifying complex legal disputes and achieving the very best results for his clients. Naveen regularly provides advice to individuals, small businesses, companies, local authorities and trade unions. Naveen is part of the Chambers team of trainers and is accredited for CPD purposes.

Employment

Naveen has been conducting Employment Tribunal cases on behalf of Claimants and Respondents for over ten years. He has appeared before the EAT and represented individuals at Civil Service Appeal Board hearings. Naveen's practice encompasses the broad spectrum of matters in this area of the law. He has a particular interest in PIDA claims and Age Discrimination cases. Naveen's clients include Recruitment Agencies and he accepts direct instructions from HR departments and businesses.

Housing and Landlord & Tenant

Naveen is instructed by individual tenants, private landlords, local authorities and Registered Providers (Housing Regeneration Act 2008 ) nationwide covering the multitude of possession claims and ASBI applications. He has been involved with high profile trespasser actions concerning Human Rights and has a particular interest in DDA matters. Naveen has also appeared before the Lands Tribunal.

Mediation

Naveen is a prolific mediator, having mediated over 100 disputes since 2002. They have included high value multi-party cases and instructions from the Treasury Solicitor as well as national property developers. Naveen is CMC registered as a Workplace Mediator.

As part of his continued commitment to Pro Bono work, Naveen set up and supervises a Housing Clinic for students attending the University of Southampton. He also received a Special Mention from the Attorney-General for his FRU work for the Western Circuit.

Naveen is a fluent speaker of Panjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
